Anthony Cottone leads strategy development, planning and execution for Oxy Low Carbon Ventures. His team is responsible for the financing and funding of CCUS projects utilizing 45Q tax credits and developing creative financial and business models to deploy first-of-their-kind technologies that reduce global emissions. He also identifies emerging technology opportunities and manages OLCV’s venture investments.
Under his leadership, the group is investing in the development of low-carbon oil, fuels and products, as well as sequestration services to support carbon capture projects globally.
Tony has worked in the oil and gas industry for more than a decade, building and sharing his diverse experience in strategy, corporate finance and investor relations. Since joining Occidental in 2012, Tony has contributed to Occidental's business strategy, financial objectives and sharing the company’s unique value proposition with stakeholders.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Emory University and an MBA from Columbia University.Go Back
